10-66. TROUBLESHOOTING.

Trouble
Fuel gauge fails to indicate.
Fuel gauge indicates empty
when tanks are full.
Fuel gauge indicates full
with tanks empty.
Fuel gauge indicated
incorrectly.
10-67. REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT. (Refer to Paragraph 10-78 of this section.)

10-68. OIL TEMPERATURE INDICATOR.

10-69. GENERAL. The oil temperature indicator is mounted in the instrument cluster on the instrument panel.
This instrument will provide a temperature indication of the engine oil in degrees Fahrenheit. The instrument
has a temperature bulb located in the oil screen assembly on engines with screens, and on the top of the oil
cooler mounting flange on engines with an oil filter, located on the engine accessory section.

Cause
Check and repair
Replace.
Check ground connections at
fuel transmitter in wings.
Check ground at instrument.
Replace fuel transmitter.
Check ground at grounded
transmitter and electrical
connections.
Replace fuel transmitter.
Remove transmitter and
sealant. Check for metal
particles in sealant. Reseal
to prevent ground.
