4.5.2 Time-out
The VisionPlate can be programmed to enter various low states of power by turning off any
combination of the monitor, the compact flash storage device, and the CPU.
This time-out period for each option can be changed by following these steps:
1. Using the stylus, tap the Start Menu then tap Control Panel. The control panel window will
open.
2. Double tap the Power Option
3. Change the values for Monitor, Hard disk (compact flash storage device), and Standby, as
needed.
Note: If a time-out value for Monitor is set without setting a value for Standby, only the
VisionPlate's display will turn off after the time-out period.
4.5.3 Exiting Low Power Mode
Exiting from Standby Low Power mode (green lamp is blinking and screen is off): Press the Power
button firmly.
Exiting from Monitor Off Low Power mode (green lamp is solid and screen is off): Tap the screen.
