1.15 Battery Safety Guidelines

• Ensure that you replace the battery correctly. There is a risk of explosion if the battery is
replaced incorrectly.
• Replace the battery only with the same type or an equivalent type, as recommended by the
manufacturer.
• Always dispose of replaced batteries in accordance with the laws and regulations of your local
community. Incorrect handling of a battery can cause a fire or explosion when exposed to
heat.
• Never disassemble a battery.
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
• Never allow the batteries to heat up to 60 degrees Celsius (140 degrees Fahrenheit) or higher.
• Never burn the batteries or soak them in water.
Caution: Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same
battery type that is recommended by the manufacturer. Dispose of used batteries according to the
manufacturer's instructions.

1.16 Operating Safety Guidelines

• Adjust the angle of the display so that you look down slightly at the display. The distance
between your eyes and the display should be 50 to 60 cm (20 to 24 inches).
• Adjust the brightness of your display and the room lighting to prevent any reflection or glare
on the display.
• Avoid exhaustion by taking frequent breaks.
