INTRODUCTION
FOUR POSSIBLE DIFFERENT TROUBLE SHOOTING APPROACHES
The main functions of the machine – traction, main broom, side broom,
vacuum fan and filter shaker - are constantly under the control of an
electronic microprocessor; therefore, in case of some specific events or
malfunctions, a numerical code – called advice code, or safety code, or
error code, according to the need - will appear on the display, either during
normal sweeping or when the machine is turned on by the key switch.
But this is not possible for all kinds of failures or problems; so, in some
cases, a failure can occur with NO specific code being displayed, except the
normal battery voltage value; either the display could show an abnormal
reading or it could remain completely off.
The flow chart at the next page summarises the four possible different
cases, in terms of display behaviour in case of failure – when machine is
turned On.

which shows all electric connections – or to the topographic
drawing of the machine, which shows the location of all
electric components.

"CAUSE" of the failure.

proceed by installing a new electronic board without finding
out and removing the problem with the electric motor, even
the second - new – electronic board will be damaged.
