11. LIST OF ERROR CODES
Data editing-related errors
Code
The enlargement ratio setting caused the sewing data to extend outside the sewing area.
E500
Set the enlargement ratio again.
Press the RESET key to clear the error.
The enlargement ratio caused the data pitch to exceed the maximum pitch of 12.7 mm.
E502
Press the RESET key to clear the error. Set the enlargement ratio again.
Error in sewing data.
E510
Press the RESET key to clear the error. Re-read the pattern from the SD card. If the data still generates an error,
re-create the data.
No end code has been input into pattern data.
E511
Press the RESET key to clear the error.
Number of stitches exceeds allowed maximum.
E512
Press the RESET key to clear the error.
Memory switch file cannot be read correctly.
E581
The model for the data which was read does not match the model being written to.
Press the RESET key to clear the error. Read data for the same sewing machine model.
Memory switch versions do not match.
E582
Press the RESET key to clear the error. Read data for the same version.
User program versions do not match.
E583
Press the RESET key to clear the error. Read data for the same version.
Device-related errors
Code
Upper thread breakage occurred. Thread the upper thread. Re-sewing is then possible.
E600
Turn off the power, and then check that connector P14 on the main P.C. board is properly connected.
Problem with the lower thread detector.
E670
Turn off the power, and then check the lower thread detector.
Thread nipper motor home position cannot be detected. Problem with thread nipper motor or poor thread nipper
home position sensor connection. Turn off the power, and then check the position of the thread nipper lever.
E690
Clean underneath the needle plate to remove any thread scraps. Turn off the power, and then check that
connectors P4 and P20 on the main P.C. board are properly connected. Check that LD2 on the main P.C. board
is illuminated while the power is on. (If it is not illuminated, fuse F1 is blown.)
Abnormal thread nipper motor stop.
Turn off the power, and then check the position of the thread nipper lever. Clean underneath the needle plate to
