Server Building Block Configuration

Server building blocks are offered to provide the option of picking and choosing from available Intel server components to create a custom
system configuration from the chassis up. Each building block component and optional accessory is purchased separately and assembled by a
system integrator. At a minimum, building up a base functional server system using building blocks will require the following:
Intel® Server Board S2600ST product family
Supported Intel® Server Chassis P4000 product family (Select SKUs only)
Hot-swap or Fixed power supply module
Note: (The Intel® Server Chassis P4304XXMFEN2 already includes a fixed PSU, whereas the Intel® Server Chassis P4304XXMUXX requires the purchase
and installation of one or two Hot-Swap PSU)
Processor(s) – (Intel® Xeon® processor Scalable family only)
Memory
Storage drives
Storage drive cables
Power cord(s)
Intel® Server Chassis P4000
Optional Intel accessories that can be added include the following:
SAS / SAS RAID support provided by a PCIe* add-in card or module + appropriate SAS data cable(s).
Intel® Remote Management Module Lite key (RMM4 Lite) – to add advanced server management features
NVMe Intel® Vritual Raid On Chip (VROC) or ESRT2 SATA RAID 5 Key options (Configuration specific)
