Maintaining the Headlights

Replacing the Bulbs
CAUTION
If you install a higher wattage bulb than the system
is designed for, you may damage the 12 V power
supply, or at a minimum, blow the fuse.
Always use the specified Toro LED bulb to prevent
this issue.
CAUTION
The bulbs become extremely hot when in operation.
Handling a hot bulb can cause severe burns and
personal injury.
Always all enough time to for the bulbs to cool
before replacing them. Use care whenever handling
the bulb.

1. Disconnect the batteries; refer to
Batteries (page
35).
2. Open the hood; refer to
3. Disconnect the electrical connector for the harness
from the connector of the lamp assembly at the back
of the headlight housing

2. Lamp assembly
4. Rotate the lamp assembly 1/4 turn counterclockwise
and moving it rearward, out of the headlight housing
(Figure
41).
5. Insert the new lamp assembly and headlight housing
and align the tabs in the lamp assembly with the slots
in the headlight housing

6. Secure lamp assembly by turning it 1/4 turn clockwise
(Figure

7. Connect the electrical connector for the harness to the
connector of the new lamp assembly
