General information

LOSS/LENGTH mode is used to measure loss, length, and
polarity of up to 12 fibers simultaneously. Depending on your
specific needs a great variety of test types and settings are
avialable:
How to perform a LOSS/LENGTH test
A LOSS/LENGTH test consists of several steps to achieve reliable
results. These steps are:
Step
1. Adjust the general test settings if needed.
E.g. set length unit.
2. Define a test configuration.
Define settings like the test type, the referencing
method or the limit specifications.
3. Reference the instrument and jumper cables.
4. Run the test.
5. View the results and repeat the test if needed.
6. Save the results.
