Selection of the application
Before the session begins, the desired application type must be selected.
There are 3 possible selections:
PURE BEAUTY: Only the Beauty Light lamps are turned on. The skin
sensor is not used. The UV output is very low.
BEAUTY & SUN: Both Beauty Light and Sunlight lamps are turned on.
The skin sensor is used for this application. The UV output in this pro-
gram is lower than in the third selection SUN & BEAUTY.
SUN & BEAUTY: Both Beauty Light and Sunlight lamps are turned on.
The skin sensor is used for this application. This program provides the
maximum UV output.

Press the button for the desired type of application.
If the sensor is not used the device will be operated using the legally pre-
scribed minimum power of the UV lamps (see function description on
page 20).

Measurement (automatic mode)
Please observe the instructions on page 12.
NOTE:
The blood flow of the skin has an effect on the measurement
result. As a result, your physical condition, sporting activities
or extreme ambient temperatures can result in different
measurement results.
1st measurement on the forehead
–
Hold the sensor to your forehead (not in the center), press and wait for
the signal tone.

2. Measurement on the body

Place the sensor on the lightest place on the body, for example on the
inside of the upper arm, and press. Wait for the signal tone.
