    Safety notices NOTE: Occasionally, persons using the tanning device will experi- ence a slight reddening of the skin – usually in small patches – after the second or third session. This redness is often accompanied by an itching sensation. This may be nothing more than a very limited heat 'rash' caused by heat from the lamps within the device and it should go away within ap- proximately 24 hours and not reappear.

    Description Sensor The sensor establishes the current UV tolerance and the base tan of human skin. The sensor measures down into the lower skin layers, so that not just the superficial skin coloring is assessed. The first tanning session must be a test session, in order to establish if there are any unexpected effects from the UV radiation.
