PEM power board

PowerEdge R940 supports two PEM power boards. These are mainly used to supply power to the PEM. The power boards are installed on
the J_PEM_PWR_R and J_PEM_PWR_L connectors available on the system board. For more information on the location of these
connectors, see the jumpers and connectors section.

Removing the PEM power board

Prerequisites
1 Follow the safety guidelines listed in
2 Follow the procedure listed in
3 Remove the air shroud.
4 Lift the PEM by using the PEM handle until the PEM is in an upright position.
Steps
Hold the PEM power board by its edges and remove the power board from the connector on the system board.
