Variable PIN Code

Some Bluetooth applications on the Host require a Vari-
able PIN
Code. When attempting connection, the application

When you hear the beep and see the Green LED blinking
indicating the reader is waiting for an alphanumeric entry,
enter the required variable PIN Code by scanning the cor-
responding bar codes for alphanumeric entry (see Hex-
Numeric Keypad on page 41. Finish by scanning the
Exit
label.

HID Country Mode
When the Reader is connected with a Bluetooth Applica-
tion in HID mode, you may want to set the country for
which your Host is localized. Go to HID Country Mode on
page 19" and read one of the configuration command
labels.
HID Caps Lock State
This option specifies the format in which the reader sends
character data. See HID Caps Lock State on page 21 for pro-
gramming labels.
