3. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Refer to page 3 for button locations. 3-A. Measuring Procedures • Press the POWER (8) button. • Press the °C/°F (3) button to select the tem- perature scale. "°C" or "°F" is displayed. • Press the K/J (5) button to select your sensor type. -

3-C. MAX/MIN FUNCTION The max/min temperatures are held in memory until the meter is turned off. The thermometer must be in the max/min function to record max (peak) or min values. • With the meter on, press the MAX/MIN (4) button once. -

5. BATTERY REPLACEMENT • When the low battery icon is displayed, turn off the meter and remove the probes. • Slide BATTERY COMPARTMENT (10) cover down to install a fresh 9V battery. • Replace the cover. Battery life is apx. 200 hrs. 6. -
