Click on [OK] to start downloading. The Download firmware update dialog is continu-
ously displayed during downloading.

After completing downloading successfully, the message "The firmware has been up-
dated successfully" is displayed. Click on [OK].
1.2 Updating the Firmware by FTP Download
When you cannot update the firmware using either the JIG PC Board or TOSHIBA Viewer, you
can download the firmware files by FTP command from the DOS prompt.

Run the DOS prompt
Enter "FTP [XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX] " at the prompt. (Enter the IP address of the facsimile

instead of " [XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX] ".)

Enter the user name for the FTP login. (Default: public)
(4)
Enter the password for the FTP login. (Default: pass)
(5)
Enter "put [file name] ". (Enter the firmware file that you want to download instead of " [file
name] .)

Enter "get rprt.txt". Please continuously enter "get rprt.txt" until you get "0Q" in "rprt.txt".
(7)
If you see the "0Q" in the "rprt.txt", the Internet Fax unit restarts immediately. ("0Q"
means firmware downloading is succeeded.)

Enter "quit".
(9)
Please wait 1 minute.
(10) When you download another Internet Fax Kit firmware file, please repeat the operation.
