7. Removed the screws marked below.
8. Carefully extract the main board from the base assembly.
Note: Underneath the main board there is still the video board connected. If the memory module, the
Wireless Mini PCI Card and the modem have not previously been removed, they will also be still on the
motherboard on the same side as the video board. Please refer to
Removing the Wireless Mini PCI
such parts.

Removing the Video Board

To remove the video board, first remove the main board (see
follow the next steps:
1. Take the main board and flip it over.
