Primary air inlet inspection

The air inlet control is on the base of the stove so if
faulty operation is suspected, in the first instance
inspect the operation of the slider using a small
mirror and torch. If the holes appear blocked or the
slider does not move correctly you will need to
remove the stove from the flue / chimney to be able
to lay the stove on its back for a more detailed
inspection or for repair / replacement of the slider
component
Ensure the securing bolt / spring assembly is
tightened sufficiently to avoid it working loose over
time; See image below
