DRIVE V-BELT

New belt width:
34.5 mm (1.36 in)
Belt wear limit width:
32.5 mm (1.28 in)
1. Measure:
S V-belt position a
NOTE:
Install the new V-belt onto the secondary
sheave only. Do not force the V-belt between
the sheaves; the sliding and fixed sheaves must
touch each other.
Standard V-belt height:
–0.5 X 1.5 mm
(–0.02 X 0.06 in)
2. Adjust the position of the V-belt by removing
or adding a spacer 1 on each adjusting bolt
2 .
V-belt position
More than 1.5 mm
(0.06 in) above the
edge
From 1.5 mm (0.06 in)
above the edge to
–0.5 mm (–0.02 in)
below the edge
More than –0.5 mm
(–0.02 in) below
the edge
