Using the HARDWARE Command
The HARDWARE serial command can be used to verify that installed option cards are recognized by the system.
The HARDWARE command returns a three-digit card code, representing the card installed:
If an installed card is not recognized (HARDWARE command returns code of 0), ensure that the card is seated
properly. Reinstall the card, if necessary, then cycle the power to read the configuration again. If the card is still not
recognized, you may need to try a different option card.
