2-2-9. Express Card Assembly

1. Refer to Sections from 2-2-1 to 2-2-5 and
disassemble the unit up to "Handle Assem-
bly" removal.
2. Refer to Sections from 2-2-7 to 2-2-8 and
disassemble the unit up to "Rear Panel
Assembly" removal.
3. Remove the screw of a, and remove the
FCC plate.

A part of the heat transfer sheet is attached to
the back side of the FCC plate with a low-
adhesive tape.
4. Disconnect the coaxial cable with connector
from the connectors (CN1) on the two EC-62
boards.

The coaxial cable with connector uses fine
pitch coaxial cables. Be careful when arrang-
ing the cable. When disconnecting the coaxial
cable with connector, do not attempt to
remove by pulling the cable. Be sure to hold
the connector to remove.
5. Remove the two screws of b.
6. Remove the three screws of c, and draw out
the express card assembly in the direction of
the arrow.

Be careful not to drop the radiation sheet. If
the radiation sheet is dropped, install the
express card assembly, and then attach the
radiation sheet at the position shown in the
figure.
