2-2-4. EVF Assembly

1. Remove the microphone holder. (Refer to
Section 2-2-3.)
2. Remove the four screws and disengage the
two claws, and remove the handle cover
(upper) assembly.
3. Remove the screw of a .
4. Disengage the two claws and fin, and remove
the handle cover rear assembly.
5. Disconnect the FP-984 (flexible board) from
the connector (CN1) on the DR-621 board.

The life of the flexible board and the flexible
card wire will be significantly shortened if
they are folded. Be very careful not to fold
them.
6. Remove the four screws of b, and remove
the EVF assembly.
7. Reinstall the EVF assembly by reversing the
steps of removal.
