Calibration

WARNING:

The re-calibration should be performed by authorized
personnel only.

Read section 9.1 to 9.3 before the re-calibration is
started.

Recommended equipment

Following equipment is necessary for reference recalibration:
50-60 Ω resistor with a traceable accuracy better than ±10 ppm.

350-360 Ω resistor with a traceable accuracy better than ±10 ppm.

Digital voltmeter, range: -1 to 4 Volt DC, accuracy: better than ±1mV.

DTI Software program on floppy disk.

Starting the calibration

The calibration can only be executed from a floppy disk described in following procedure:
1.
Insert the disk in the floppy drive (A or B).
2.
Select the drive by typing "A:" (or "B:") <ENTER>.
3.
Start the program by typing "DTI" <ENTER>.
4.
Confirm port selection with <ENTER> or change it by pressing <SPACE> and using
<↑> or <↓>.
5.
When the program is in contact with the DTI the "ABOUT" message will be shown
on the screen.
6.
Select the menu "Recalibrate".
The menu now consists of three additional parts, New Cal. date, Reference resistors and
Analog out.
