POSSIBLE CAUSE
Calibration is not correct.
Activation has been skipped.
Electrode too slow.
Instrument was not correctly
programmed.
Electrode not well connected.
Measurement board is defective.
System, including electrode, not
properly calibrated.
Electrode does not function, may be
incompatibility with the application.
CPU board is defective.
Electrode is too slow.
No electrolyte.
Rinsing between each channel is not
correct.
Incorrect conditioning.
No sample being delivered
Conductivity sensor not properly
connected.
Temperature not calibrated.
Defective measuring board.
Electrode too slow.
Calibration solution is empty.
Calibration solution is polluted.
Drain valve cannot open.
Drain pump is inefficient.
Analyzer frame is not vertical.
REMEDIES
See below.
Start a new grab sample again.
Set activation setup to 24 hours frequency.
Manually activate the electrode by immersing it
for 10 minutes in activation solution.
If the problem persists, change the electrode.
Check programming parameters -
correspondence with the electrode
characteristics.
Check all electrode connections.
Check measurement board with a voltage
generator. If measure is not correct, change the
measurement board.
Calibrate the whole system (electrode
connected). Check the calibration solution.
Visually check the electrode and the
correspondence between the application and
the electrode specifications.
If error persists, call the Service Technician.
Check Slope parameter. If Slope higher than 60
mV/decade, or lower than 55 mV/decade, it
may be that the electrode is too slow. Manually
activate the electrode by immersing it for 10
minutes in activation solution.
If the problem persists, change the electrode.
Refill the electrolyte solution.
Maximum cycle time is too low (menu CYCLE
TIME).
Flow rate is lower than 5.5 L/h.
Verify pH at the outlet of the cell (see minimum
pH for maximum detection limit table). Verify
conditioning reagent level.
Verify if solenoid valve for overflow vessel is
blocked and replace it if needed.
Verify if solenoid valve for sample is blocked
and replace it if needed.
Check the conductivity sensor is properly
connected. Check it is not defective.
Calibrate temperature.
If problem cannot be solved, call the Service
Technician.
Set activation setup to 24 hours frequency.
Manually activate the electrode by immersing it
for 10 minutes in activation solution.
If the problem persists, change the electrode.
Refill the calibration canister.
Change the calibration solution.
Change the valve or call the Service
Technician.
Remove it and clean the internal valve.
Install the analyzer vertically.
