Making 1 to 2-Sided, 2 to 2-Sided, or 2 to 1-Sided Copies

Place your originals into the feeder or on the platen glass.
IMPORTANT
To achieve the desired outputs, make sure that your originals are placed in the correct
orientation. (See "Placing Orientations of Originals," on p. 5-2.)
● If you make 1 to 2-sided or 2 to 2-sided copies:

2-Sided Copying
Place your originals into the feeder or on the platen glass.
NOTE
You can make 1 to 2-sided and 2 to 2-sided copies with the platen glass by
manually replacing or turning over the originals. Follow the instructions that
appear on the touch panel display when pressing
Place your originals into the feeder.
(Start).
Press [2-Sided].
Select the desired 2-sided mode
➞ press [Option].
NOTE
• To make copies with the default
settings, press [OK] instead of
[Option] and proceed to step 5.
• The orientation of the originals is set
to <Vertical Original> by default. Be
sure to change the setting in the
Option screen when copying originals
in horizontal orientation.
