Binding Erase

This mode erases shadows from binding holes on originals.

Place your original on the platen glass ➞ press [Special Features]
➞ [Frame Erase].
For help, see step 1 in "Original Frame Erase," on p. 3-13.
NOTE
To achieve the desired outputs, make sure that your originals are placed in the correct

orientation. (See "Placing Orientations of Originals," on p. 5-2.)

Erasing Shadows/Frame Lines (Frame Erase)
Press [Binding Erase] ➞ [Next].
Select the side where the binding
holes are located ➞ press [Next].
[Top], [Left], [Right], and [Bottom] on
the display refer to the positions of your
originals when you place them on the
platen glass.
