Assembly and setup

Warning: Unplug the jigsaw before any service or adjustment.
Fitting the saw blade (T-shank)
1. Turn the jigsaw upside down and turn the blade
clamp ring (13) anticlockwise as far as it will go.
Hold the ring in place.
2. Fully insert the blade into the blade clamp, teeth
facing forward.
3. Release the clamp ring and let it rotate back and lock
the blade in place.
4. Push the blade into the clamp again and pull it down
to check that it is securely locked into position.
5. Make sure that the back edge of the blade is slotted
into the groove in the guide roller (10).
Removing/Replacing the saw blade
1. Turn the jigsaw upside down and turn the blade
clamp ring (13) anticlockwise as far as it will go.
Hold the ring in place.
2. Pull the blade out of the clamp.
3. Fit a new blade as described above.
Fitting the parallel guide
Slide the parallel guide into its clamps and tighten the locking knob (4). The parallel
guide can be fitted on either the right or the left side.
