Assembly and setup

Warning: Always remove the battery from the jigsaw before performing any adjustment,
service or maintenance.

Fitting the blade

The saw blade is sharp, use safety gloves whenever handling it.
1. Turn the blade clamp lock until it stops.
2. Insert the blade and push it all the way to
the bottom of the blade clamp. Hold the blade
down and release the blade clamp lock.
Warning: Do not release the saw blade
until the blade clamp lock has sprung back
and the blade is locked in place.
3. Make sure that the blade is securely fastened in
the clamp.
Changing the saw blade
1. Turn the blade clamp lock until it stops.
Warning: Grip the blade firmly when turning the clamp lock, the blade will spring
out once it has been released. Otherwise the blade could fly out and injure
someone close by.
2. Fit a new saw blade as instructed above.

Adjusting the footplate

The footplate (7) can be tilted up to 45° to the right or left.
1. Undo the two socket head footplate locking screws.
2. Pull the footplate backwards and tilt it to the desired
angle before tightening the locking screws.
3. Alternatively, you can set the footplate to one of
the fixed angles, 22.5° or 45° (refer to the marks
on the footplate).
4. To do this you will need to slide the footplate
forwards to the desired angle before tightening
the locking screws.
Important: It is recommended that you test
the settings on a piece of waste wood to
make sure that the angle is correct before
working on the real workpiece.
