Chapter 5 VGA Setup

5.1 Introduction

The AIMB-330 use VIA CLE266 chipset with integrated an onboard
AGP flat panel/VGA interface.
The specifications and features are described as follows:
• Internal AGP4X equivalent performance
• 128-bit 2D/3D graphics engine
• Optimized Shared Memory Architecture(SMA)
• 16/32/64MB frame buffer using system memory
• High quality DVD video playback
• CRT display interface with 24-bit true-color RAMDAC up to 250MHz
pixel rate with gamma correction capability
• Support for panel resolutions up to 1024 x 768, CRT resolutions up to
1400x1050, and DVI up to 1280x1024
• Dual view capability where CRT and Flat Panel Monitor can have a dif-
ferent resolution and refresh rate
