with halogen headlamps, the following headlamp
variant is available as special equipment:
• Bi-xenon headlamps with active curve illumi-
nation
• Bi-xenon headlamps with Intelligent Light

Intelligent Light System (ILS)
The functions of the Intelligent Light System
improve the illumination of the road in different
driving situations. The system adjusts the align-
ment and light output of the xenon headlamps to
suit the situation in hand. This ensures that other
road users are not inconvenienced or dazzled.
