Overhead control panel
The overhead control panel (OCP) contains the
front interior lights and the front reading lamps.
The following switches are integrated in the
housing:
• Panoramic sliding sunroof switch (special
equipment)
• Rear dome lamp switch
• Interior lamp automatic function switch
• Front dome lamp switch
• Left front reading lamp switch
• Right front reading lamp switch
Also the following buttons, depending on equip-
ment installed:
• Interior protection button (not USA)
• Tow-away protection button (not USA)
• Emergency call system button (USA only)
• MB Info button (USA only)
• Breakdown assistance button (USA only)
The overhead control panel acts as a gateway for
the interfaces
• Dimming inside rearview mirror
• Rain sensor
• Front area and ambient light sensor
