Inside rearview mirror with compass (USA)
In the USA version the inside rearview mirror is
fitted with a compass module. The compass module
senses the earth's magnetic field and indicates the
direction of travel in 45° steps. The possible
displays are "N", "NW", "W", "SW", "S", "SE", "E",
"NE". The display of the compass points can be
switched on or off with the compass display button.
The following settings are necessary for correct
display of the compass directions:
• Calibration of compass module
• Setting of magnetic field zone
