Seat belt extender with control button
To facilitate the wearing of the front seat belts, the
new coupé is equipped with automatic belt
extenders at the front.
The belt extender extends automatically when the
relevant door is closed and the key in the ignition
lock is turned to position "1" or "2".
The belt extender retracts again when
• The belt tab engages in the seat belt buckle
• The belt tab does not engage in the seat belt
buckle within 60 s
• The key in the ignition lock is turned to
position "0"
• The backrest is unlocked or folded forward
The seat belt extender can also be operated via a
button in the upper control panel (UCP).
ISOFIX and TopTether
The rear seats are fitted with ISOFIX child seat
attachments. The fastening brackets for two child
restraint systems are installed on the left and right
rear seats between the cushion surface and the
backrest.
The TopTether fastening points are located at the
top of the rear seat backrest. Top Tether provides
the option of making an additional connection
between child restraint systems attached using
ISOFIX and the rear seat.
