Caution.
If ABB cable is not used, always route signal leads and power cables separately, preferably in
earthed (grounded) metal conduit.
Make connections only as shown.
Maintain Environmental Protection at all times.
Ensure the seal and mating surfaces are clean to maintain environmental rating.
Conduit connections must provide cable entry sealing.
Ensure cable glands are tightened after wiring. Do not overtighten the cable glands to avoid
destroying their sealing properties. Initially, tighten finger-tight, then a further
suitable spanner or wrench.
Fit blanking plugs where required.
Inductive loads must be suppressed or clamped to limit voltage swings.
Operation of outputs is programmable.
5.1.1 AC Power Supply Connections
Note. Tighten power supply terminal screws to a torque of 0.8 Nm (7 lbf.in).
