POWER
CONNECTIONS
2.7.1
Before operating
the
counter, verify that
the
AC
voltage selector
is
correctly
set for the local
AC
supply.
The
counter operates on 100,
120, 220, or
240
volts,
45
to
450 Hz.
The
present voltage range can be
viewed through
the
small
window
on
the rear
panel
between
the
power
cord socket and
the
line
fuse (see
Figures
2.9
and
3.2).

The
line
voltage setting
is
easily
changed by
repositioning the
small voltage
selector card,
which
is
inserted vertically
in
its
slot
close to
the rear
panel.
Refer
to
Figure
2.9
and
use the following procedure:
a.
Remove
the
power
cord from
its
socket
b.
Loosen, but
don't
remove,
the
two
rear corner-feet
by unscrewing
the
two
phillips
retaining
screws from each
foot.
Back
the corner
feet out
approximately
5/8 inch.
Slide
the top
cover
1/2
inch
towards
the rear
panel, the
lift
the
former
off
