PROBABLE CAUSE
Defective voltage regulator
circuit
Generator circuit breaker
tripped or 130 amp buss limit
fuse blown
Improper connections
Defective generator control
switch Continuity.
Defective Reverse Current
Relay
Defective generator
Defective wiring
Defective meter
REMARKS
Adjust or replace
regulator
Check for short circuit and
reset circuit breaker and /
or replace buss limit fuse
Check connections
against wiring diagram
Check switch for proper
operation and replace if
necessary.
With engine running,
check for 27.5vdc at both
GEN and BATT terminals.
If 27.5vdc at GEN and
24vdc at BATT, reverse
current relay is faulty.
Check generator with an
ohmmeter and replace
starter-generator if
necessary
Continuity. Check wiring
and repair as necessary
Replace meter
