Pulleys binding or rubbing.
Rudder binding caused by
bent rudder horn.
Rudder pedal needs
lubrication.
Cables not in place on
pulleys.
Bent rudder.
Rudder cables incorrectly
rigged.
Rudder horn stops incorrectly
adjusted.
CAUSE
REMEDY
Adjust cables in
accordance with rigging
procedures.
Provide proper clearance
if pulleys are rubbing
pulley brackets or cable
guards.
Replace rudder horn.
Lubricate as required.
Install cables correctly.
Repair or replace rudder.
Rig in accordance with
rigging procedures.
Adjust in accordance with
rudder rigging
procedures.
