Assigning TCP/IP Parameters to the OMD

In order to work with the OMD, TCP/IP parameters (IP, Netmask, Gateway) must
be set via the OMD Panel Interface. For further information; see: 'How to assign
TCP/IP Parameters to the OMD?' 12.

Using the OMD Homepage

Configuration and administration of the OMD can be done via the integrated
web server (OMD Homepage). Only versions of Netscape Navigator 4.0 or later
and Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or later are supported. For the display we
recommend a resolution of 1024 x 768 Pixel at least.
Before starting the OMD Homepage it is necessary to assign TCP/IP parameters to
the OMD.
Starting the OMD Homepage
Proceed as follows:
1. Start your web browser.
2. Enter the IP address of the OMD as URL (http://<ip address>).
The OMD Homepage is displayed.
If the OMD Homepage is not displayed, check the proxy settings of your browser.
