OMD Security Settings

Access to the OMD and to the entire configuration is controlled by several
security measures.

How to manage the Panel PIN
The OMD's control panel can be protected from unauthorized access with a 4-
digit PIN. If a PIN has been configured, this PIN needs to be entered before every
user interaction with the control panel.

Configuring the PIN
The PIN is configured via the OMD Homepage. The default PIN is '0000' . PIN
'0000' means that the OMD control panel is not protected.
Proceed as follows:
1. Click Configuration.
2. Click Admin Accounts.
3. Click Panel pin.
4. Enter the PIN.
5. Click Set.
The settings are saved.
Should the OMD's factory default settings be restored, the PIN is erased and
defaults back to '0000' .
