Threading the Machine

Raise the take–up lever to its highest position by turning the
handwheel toward you.
Raise the presser foot.
Place a spool on the spool pin as shown, with thread coming
from back of the spool.
1 Draw the thread into thread guide using both hands.
2 While holding the thread near spool, draw thread down
into the tension area and then around the check spring
holder.
3 Firmly draw the thread up and through the take–up
lever from right to left.
4 Then draw the thread down and slip it into the lower
thread guide.
5 Draw the thread down and slip it into needle bar thread
guide on the left.
6 Thread the needle eye from front to back.
Note :
You may want to cut the end of thread with sharp
scissors for easier needle threading.
Enhebrado de la máquina
Sitúe el tirahilos en su posición más elevada girando el volante
hacia usted.
Levante el prensatelas.
Coloque un carrete en el portacarretes como se muestra, con
el hilo saliendo de la parte de atrás del carrete.
z Pase el hilo por el guiahilos utilizando ambas manos.
Mientras sujeta el hilo cerca del carrete, pase el hilo hacia

abajo por el área de tensión y, a continuación, alrededor
del soporte del muelle de retenida.
c Pase firmemente el hilo hacia arriba y a través del tirahilos,
de derecha a izquierda.
A continuación, pase el hilo hacia abajo e introdúzcalo en
v
el guiahilos inferior.
Pasando el hilo hacia abajo, introdúzcalo en el guiahilos
b
situado a la izquierda de la barra de aguja.
Pase el hilo por el ojo de la aguja, de delante hacia atrás.

Nota:
Corte el extremo del hilo con unas tijeras afiladas para
enhebrar la aguja con mayor facilidad.
