Threading the Machine
CAUTION:
Always make sure to press the lockout key to lockout
the machine before threading the machine.
1. Press the needle up/down button to raise the take-up
lever to the highest position.
Press the lockout key to lockout the machine.

(2) Thread take-up lever
(3) Lockout key

2. Raise the retractable thread guide bar. Pass the
thread through the guide on the thread guide bar from
behind.

3. Pass the thread through the right thread guide.
(5) Right thread guide
4. Hold the thread with both hands as shown and slip it
under the upper thread guide.
(6) Upper thread guide
5. Draw the thread toward you and pass it into the left
thread guide.
(7) Left thread guide
6. Draw the thread down along the right channel and
around the bottom of the thread guide plate.
Pull the thread up along the left channel.
(8) Right channel
(9) Thread guide plate
(10) Left channel
