6.5 Adjusting the Tilt Limiter

The adjustable seat angle can be limited if needed. With the tilt limiter installed, the maximum possible seat angle
is 45°.
1) Firmly screw the tilt limiter in place in the hole channel, 5° above the desired maximum angle (see fig. 10,
example for maximum tilt angle = 27.5°).
2) Carry out a function test. After reaching the maximum angle (the tilt limiter hits the locking plate guide), tilt the
seat back sightly so that the locking pins engage properly (see fig. 11).
CAUTION! Listen for the sound it makes when it engages. If necessary, move the push handles or
push bar up and down slightly in order to align the locking mechanism so that the locking pins on
both sides can engage in the bore holes exactly.

6.6 Adaptation of the Seating Shell/Seating System

6.6.1 Installing an Ottobock Shape System (Option)

This option may only be installed by Ottobock at this time.

6.6.2 Removing/Installing a Seat Plate (Option)

INFORMATION
The preinstalled seat plate can continue to be used within the approved adjustment range.
For removal/installation within the scope of adjustments or retrofitting a new seat plate, complete the following
steps:
a) Removal/installation to adjust the width of the seat frame
1) Loosen all mounting screws (countersunk head screws) between the seat plate and seat plate supports (see
fig. 12, item 1).
2) After adjusting the frame width, (see Page 11) position the seat plate:
→ The front of the seat plate is flush with the front of the lateral tubes of the seat frame (see fig. 12, item 2).
→ The seat plate is centred between the lateral tubes of the seat frame.
3) Tighten all mounting screws to a torque of 10 Nm.
