Luggage system

Fitting a luggage system will
affect the handling of your
motorcycle. The recom-
mended top speed with the
cases loaded is 180 km/h.
The maximum permissible top
speed with the small or large
OA
topcase fitted is 180 km/h.
Correct loading
Overloading can impair
the stability of your
motorcycle, as can an unbal-
anced load.
Never exceed the motorcy-
cle's permissible gross weight
( 145). Comply with the in-

structions for loading below.c
• Set spring preload (
damping characteristic
( 56) and tyre pressures

( 57) to suit total weight.

• Make sure that the weight is
uniformly distributed
between right and left.
• Pack heavy items at the bot-
tom and toward the inboard
side.
• Max. load in each case (left
and right): 10 kg.
• Max. load in tank rucksack
