This operating manual contains informa-
tion and instructions for commissioning
the diagnostic device for smoke alarm
devices, operation, maintenance and de-
commissioning in a safe manner.
The operating manual is intended to in-
crease the reliability and life cycle, and to
help avoid hazards and downtime, or a
loss of warranty claims.
It is absolutely necessary that the operat-
ing manual is read and understood.
For better readability, the diagnostic device
for smoke alarm devices is hereinafter re-
ferred to as "RWM MC" or "device".
1.1 Scope of operating manual
The operating manual only applies for
diagnostic devices with the designation
RWM MC.

1.2 Name plate and identification
The name plate of the RWM MC can be
found on the rear side of the device be-
side the battery compartment.
1.3 Conformity
The device of type RWM MC complies
with the specifications in the following

be kept accessible on location and handed
over to the user.
