This operating manual contains informa-
tion and instructions for safe assembly,
commissioning, installation and mainte-
nance, as well as proper operation of the
smoke alarm device with radio link.
The instruction manual is intended to in-
crease the reliability and life cycle, and to
help avoid hazards and downtime, or a
loss of warranty claims.
It is absolutely necessary that the operat-
ing manual is read and understood.
For a better readability, the PX-IC smoke
alarm device with radio link is hereinaf-
ter referred to as "smoke alarm device"
or "device".
1.1 Scope of operating manual
The operating manual apply only to the
smoke alarm device with radio link of the
PX-IC type.

1.2 Name plate and identification
The name plate of the smoke alarm de-
vice is located below the testing / stop
button (smoke alarm device cover).

1.3 Conformity
