Timer-Controlled Operation---
Record Operation
1. Connect your deck and stereo system to
a clock timer as shown in the diagram,
2. Make all
the
preparations for normal re-
cording, from
FM
broadcast
for
example.
(See "Recording" on page 16).
3. Set the clock timer to desired "on" time.
4.
Press both the
play (
lP-) and REG OR 0
buttons on and set power switches of
your deck and stereo system "on".
When the selected time arrives, the deck
will start recording. If the dock timer is a
multiprogrammab!e type, the deck will
record every time the clock timer supplies
power to the system.
Sensing Foil Attachment
(X-300R only)
When automatic reverse or continuous
repeat playback is desired,
it
is necessary to
use sensing foil to activate the automatic
reverse or AUTO REPEAT function. The
sensing foil must be attached to
the
outer
surface of the tape, NOT the side of the
tape in contact with the head, and it must
be at the "end" of the tape, not at the
"beginning". It must also be at the end of
the magnetic portion of the tape just before
the nonmagnetic leader tape - NOT at the
end of the leader tape itself.
Playback Operation
1.
After threading your favorite prerecord·
ed tape, play the tape for a while and
adjust the volume contml ot your stereo
system for the desired volume level. Re·
wind the tape where you want
til
start.
2. Set your timer clock tor the desired time.
3. Press the play (
.1> )
button and check
that the power switches of your deck
and stereo system are "on".
When the selected tim a arrives, the deck
will automaticaUy start playing.
Note: If the right tlmsion arm ls not raised,
even if the tape
is
threaded, the deck
will
not operate under timer controL

Processus d' enregistrement
1. Connectez votre platina

4. Pressez
simultanement las touches de
lecture (

et d'enregistrement (RE·

sur "ON".

platine peut enregistrer

Processus de reproduction
1. Apnh avoir emoule !a bande preenregis·
tree
de votre choix, reproduisez-la pen·
darlt quelques instants st reglez. Ia com-
mande de volume de votre chafne stereo
au niveau desire. Rembobinez !a bande
jusqu'a l'endroit
ou
vous desirez com·
mencer.
2. Reglez votr,e horloge de programmation
a
l'heure vou!ue.
3. Pmssez Ia touche de lecture (

et ,
verifiez que les interrupteurs d'a!imenta·
tion de Ia chaine et de Ia platine sont
bien sur "ON".
A !'heure vou!ue, Ia platina commence auto- ·
matiquement la reproduction.
Rernarque: La platine
n~
peut fonctionner·
avec l'horloge si le bras de tension droit
n'est pas correctement souleve par Ia bande
enroulee.
