The procedures tor normal forward play-
back have been detailed on page 3.
Reverse Playback (X-31JOR only)
The procedures for raverse playback are the
same
as
thosa
for
normal forward playback
except that the left Dl RE CTION switch is
pressed, The direction
of
playback may be
changed as desired
by
simply pressing the
appropriate DIRECTION switch.
Automatic Reverse Playback
(X-300R only)
Using sensing toil, the deck will automatical·
ly reverse direction in playback mode when
the sansing foil is encountered. Following
the instructions on page 24, attach sensing
foil to the end of a reel of tape. When the
end of the reel is reached and the sensing
foil is encountered, the tape changes dfrec·
tion to play the other side of the tape. In
this way an entire reel of tape can be played
back automatically without having to
manually change the reels or press a button
to change directions. When the end of the
second side is reached, tape transport auto·
matica!ly stops.

Continuous Repeat Playback
(X-300R
only)
With the AUTO REPEAT switch pressed in
and sensing foil attached to the end of the
tape, if the tape counter is cleared (reset to
0000) at the beginning of the tape, the tape
will change direction at the end when the
s-ensing foi! is encountered and change again
at the other end when the tape counter
counts
down
to 0000. This cycle will repeat
continuously untii the mode is manually
changed.

Le processus pour Ia lecture inverses est le
meme
que pour Ia lecture dans le sens
normal, mais avec l'interrupteur gauche de
0 I R ECTION enfonce. Le aens de lecture
peut etre change comme on veut, en
pressant simp lament sur !a touche de
0 IR ECTlON appropriee.

changer de sens de defilement Quand Ia fin
de !a seconde face est atteinte, le defilement
s'arrete automatiquement.
