IEC 60364 - 7-722 2015 standards specifies:

Every Wall Connector needs to be equipped with a separate device against overcurrent and
with an own RCD. This applies for an installation of a single Wall Connector as well as for all
units involved in a load sharing installation.
Note: This also applies for China, Hong Kong and Macau.
