Überprüfung der Reichweite des
Fernsteuersenders
Damit Sie nicht die Kontrolle über das Modell verlieren, sollten
Sie vor jedem ersten Start oder nach einem Crash die Funktion
und Reichweite der RC-Anlage überprüfen.
In der Neutralstellung von Nick und Roll sollte auch die
Taumelscheibe in Neutralstellung stehen.
Ist dies nicht der Fall, korrigieren Sie die Stellung mit den
Trimhebeln des jeweiligen Steuerkanals am Sender.

Entfernen Sie sich langsam von dem Modell,
Motor läuft nicht!

Betätigen Sie nacheinander die Fernsteuerhebel Nick, Roll
und Heck und
-
beobachten Sie dabei die Reaktionen des Modells.
Die RC-Anlage arbeitet einwandfrei, wenn das
Modell im Freifeld bei eingeschobener Antenne
aus ca. 5-0 m Entfernung noch korrekt auf die
Fernsteuerung anspricht. Achten Sie bei diesem
Test darauf, dass keine weiteren Sender einge-
schaltet sind. Unterbrechen Sie den Test sofort,
falls der Funkkontakt unterbrochen ist und die
Empfangsanlage des Modells unkontrollierte
Steuerungen ausführt. Die RC-Anlage arbeitet
einwandfrei, wenn das Modell aus ca. 0 m Ent-
fernung noch korrekt auf die Fernsteuersignale
anspricht.
Fliegen Sie das Modell niemals mit fehlerhaft
arbeitender Fernsteuerung! Im günstigsten Fall
erleidet "nur" das Modell einen Schaden.
Funktionskontrolle des Flugreglers

Wenn Sie jetzt den linken Fernsteuerhebel vorwärts betäti-
gen, sollte der Elektromotor anlaufen und sich die Drehzahl
stufenlos regeln lassen.
Der Motor darf in der untersten Position (Neutralstel-
lung) des Gas/Pitchhebels noch nicht anlaufen!
Falls nötig, korrigieren Sie die Neutralstellung mit dem
Trimmhebel am Sender.

Bewegen Sie den Fernsteuerhebel nach vorwärts.
Die Drehgeschwindigkeit des Motors sollte kontinuierlich an-
steigen.
Eintrimmen des Helikopters
-
Entfernen Sie sich mindestens 2 m von dem Modell, das
Heck zeigt in Ihre Richtung.

Bewegen Sie den Gas/Pitch-Hebel (den rechten Fernsteu-
erhebel) langsam nach vorne, bis das Kufenlandegestell nur
noch leicht den Boden berührt. Kurz bevor der Helikopter zu
schweben beginnt, können Sie bereits erkennen, in welche
Richtung sich Ihr Modell bewegen möchte.

Nehmen Sie die Drehzahl wieder zurück und korrigieren Sie
den jeweiligen Trimmschieber.

Überprüfen Sie nach jeder Korrektur, ob die Korrektur aus-
gereicht hat und wiederholen Sie den Vorgang so oft, bis das
Modell stabil in Position bleibt.

Will sich der Helikopter mit der Rumpfspitze nach rechts dre-
hen, schieben Sie den Trimmschieber für die Heck-Funktion
schrittweise nach links.
-
Dreht sich die Rumpfspitze nach links, ist eine entspre-
chende Trimmkorrektur nach rechts durchzuführen.

Wenn der Heli nach links bzw. nach rechts driftet bzw. kippt,
korrigieren Sie die Trimmung der Roll-Funktion (rechter
Fernsteuerhebel) nach rechts bzw. links.

Flight preparation
Checking the range of the remote-controlled trans-
mitter
Check the function and range of the RC system before every
initial start or after a crash so that you do not lose control over
the model.
When the aileron and elevator settings are neutral, the swash
plate must also be in the neutral position.
If not, correct the position with the trimming levers of the respec-
tive control channel on the transmitter.

Slowly go away from the model,
the motor is not running!

Press the Elevator, Aileron and Rudder levers (remote-con-
trolled) one after the other and observe the reactions of the
model.
The RC system is working flawlessly if, in a free
field with the antenna pushed in, the model still
responds correctly to the remote control system
at a distance of approx 5-0 m. During this test,
be sure no other transmitters are switched on.
Abort the test immediately if the radio contact is
interrupted or the reception system for the mo-
del executes piloting in an uncontrolled manner.
If the model responds correctly to the remote
control signals even from a distance of approx.
0 m, the RC system is functioning correctly.
Never fly the model with a faulty remote control
system! Even in the most favourable situation, at
least the model will get damaged.
Functional check of the speed controller

Push the left remote control lever forward to start the electric
motor; the speed should be regulated continuously.
The motor should not start when the throttle lever is still
in the lowermost position (idle position)!
If required, rectify the idle position with the trimming lever on
the transmitter.

Move the remote control lever forward.
The rotating speed of the motor will increase continuously.
Trimming the helicopter
-
Keep a distance of at least 2 m between you and the model,
the rudder should point in your direction.

Push the rudder lever (the right remote-controlled lever)
slowly forward till the skid landing gear touches the ground
slightly. So you will know just before lifting whether the model
will drift in a particular direction.

Reduce the speed once again and rectify the steering trim.
-
After every correction, check whether the correction was suf-
ficient and repeat this till the model remains stable in one
position.

If the helicopter wants to turn to the right with the tip of the
fuselage, push the steering trim for the rudder function gra-
dually to the left.
-
If the tip of the fuselage turns to the left, make a correspon-
ding right trim adjustment.
-
If the helicopter drifts to the left or right, adjust the trimming
of the aileron function (right remote-controlled lever) to the
right or left.
