EASY-TURN™ CABLE ADJUSTMENT
If the Easy-Turn™ cable has stretched, the gears will not disengage
when the control lever is activated. Adjust the cable as follows:
1. Turn the engine off and disconnect the spark plug wire.
2. Loosen the jam nut (see Figure 19).
3. Turn the adjustment nut to lengthen or shorten the cable. The
cable should be tightened just until all slack is removed from
the lever, however it must not engage the Easy-Turn™ release
without depressing the control lever.
4. Tighten the jam nut.

CHECK THE TIRES

Check tires for damage. Check the air pressure in the tires with an
accurate gauge (see Figure 20).
CAUTION: Avoid Injury! Explosive separation of tire and
rim parts is possible when they are serviced incorrectly.
• Do not attempt to mount a tire without the proper equipment
and experience to perform the job.
• Do not inflate the tires above the recommended pressure.
• Do not weld or heat a wheel and tire assembly. Heat can
cause an increase in air pressure resulting in an explosion.
Welding can structurally weaken or deform the wheel.
• Do not stand in front or over the tire assembly when
inflating. Use appropriate tool that allows you to stand to
one side.
NOTICE: Check side of tire for maximum tire pressure. DO NOT
exceed maximum.
