EEPROM cylinder fault code number: an error is detected while
reading or writing on EEPROM (CO adjustment value).
Under certain conditions

• 00 (no history)
• 01–04: Cylinder fault code number (history exists)
If more than one cylinder is defective, the display switches every
two seconds to show the cylinder fault code numbers of all defec-
tive cylinders in a repeating cycle.

Change the CO concentra-
tion of cylinder #1, and
rewrite in EEPROM.
Refer to "ADJUSTING THE
EXHAUST GAS VOLUME"
on page 3-11.
After this adjustment is made,
the memory is not recovered
when the main switch is
turned OFF and ON again. →
Replace the ECU.
Change the CO concentra-
tion of cylinder #2, and
rewrite in EEPROM.
Refer to "ADJUSTING THE
EXHAUST GAS VOLUME"
on page 3-11.
After this adjustment is made,
the memory is not recovered
when the main switch is
turned OFF and ON again. →
Replace the ECU.
