Starting a program

You can find details and important
information regarding the Miele
default programs in the program
overview chart in the accompanying
"Programming manual".

Any program or dispensing
changes in connection with the
preparation of medical devices must
be documented (under the German
Medical Device Operator
Ordinance). In such cases, the
washer-disinfector results (cleaning
and/or disinfection) will need to be
re-validated.
A. Fixed program
To utilize access level "A", fixed
programs must be assigned for access.
See the "Programming manual" section
on "System functions" for details on
assigning programs. Once programs
have been assigned to access level "A",
they can be operated in the following
manner.
^ Select operating level "A"
^ Check the display to see whether the
required program is being displayed.
If several fixed programs have
been made freely accessible, select the
one required using the program
selector.
^ Press the "Start" button 6.
B. Free program selection
^ Select operating level "B".
Operating the machine
In operating level "B", you have three
possibilities for program selection.
1. Program slots 1 - 23 can be selected
using the program selector.
^ Turn the program selector to the
desired program number.
The program name appears in the
display.
2. Programs 24 and above are
accessible via 4 and 3.
^ Turn the program selector to 24.
^ Press 4 (scroll forward), until the
desired program is displayed.
^ Press 3 (scroll backward), until the
desired program is displayed.
3. The PROGRAM SURVEY menu lists
all the stored programs. You can use
this menu to select a program.
To do so:
^ Select the PROGRAM SURVEY with
1, then confirm with the "Start" button
6.
^ Use 1 or 2 to select a program.
^ Use the "Start" button 6 to confirm
the program selection.
You will now exit the program survey
and the selected program appears in
the display.
After selecting one of the three options
above:
^ Press the "Start" button 6.
^ The program begins.
